As you will be aware, the Covid-19 Alert Level has been raised to 4. Veterinary services are classified as an essential service, as previous, we will be partially restricted in how we operate. It is a legal requirement for both employee and customer to wear a face mask at business or service. Please take time to read the information below.
Small Animals
As an essential service, we will continue to offer animal health services, however, we will operate as a closed clinic with no entry into our clinics from Wednesday 18th August until Monday 23rd August (or otherwise permitted).
As a closed door clinic, you will need to contact our team by phone on arrival to arrange the transfer of your animal to our team.
In some cases, this may result in some delays so thank you for your patience in advance. If you have an appointment we will be calling you shortly to discuss and reschedule. There may be circumstances that mean we will need to postpone your appointment - in which case we will contact you directly.
Our teams (including the retail team) will still be available for:
Any essential animal health and welfare services
Any essential animal health supplies
All emergency animal health services
During the lockdown period, we will also no longer accept walk-in appointments. All appointments must be booked. Please observe social distancing when in contact with our teams- stay 2m apart where possible and wear masks. We will have masks available if needed.
Our goal is to keep your pets happy and healthy through these difficult times, without putting people at risk.
Large Animals
As an essential service, we will continue to offer animal health services for farm clients, however, we will operate as a closed clinic with no entry into our clinics from Wednesday 18th August until Monday 23rd August (or otherwise permitted). All our on-farm work will continue, however, we will be maintaining physical distance with our PPE.
Our teams (including the retail team) will still be available for:
All essential animal health and welfare services (including consultations)
All essential animal health supplies and deliveries
All emergency animal health services
We have a good supply of your usual product needs, so these can be ordered by phone for zero-contact collection at the clinic or with our zero-contact delivery service.
Again, where there are options to do things differently, we will - for example, all consultations will now be performed by phone. We will maintain regular contact with you as we work through options in the coming few days.
Please observe social distancing when in contact with our teams- stay 2m apart where possible and wear masks. We will have masks available if needed.
Thank You
Like before, we know that this can be a challenging time for all, let alone those that are caring for our nations agricultural sustainability and those of us with pets in our families. We appreciate that pets are important, particularly when people are in isolation. And we also appreciate that food production is a critical service at all times. Our goal is to continue to look after the health and welfare of these animals whilst not putting people at risk.
Fortunately, we have a talented and motivated team that is experienced to provide quality emergency and essential care, 24/7, for as long as we have been in existence. Whilst the external situation may be different, the capability and logistics for us haven’t changed.
And finally, stay strong, support your communities, and be kind.
